This month South Shields Local History Group are holding their Annual General Meeting, at 5.30 pm on Monday, June 15th, followed by the Ernest Lewthwaite Memorial Talk which will be given by his daughter, Jean Stokes. This year Jean will be sharing a selection of her Dad's postcards which cover the coastline from Sandhaven beach along to Marsden Grotto.

Members start arriving from 5 pm onwards, meeting in the Library Cafe.
